About Sleepsmith
Founded by Treavor Eimers CRNA and Alan Smith CRNA in 2018, Sleepsmith is an anesthesia staffing and management company. Currently, Sleepsmith has contracts with facilities throughout northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are focused on assisting small hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, endoscopy centers, and physician offices to find the anesthesia solutions they need.
Outstanding Anesthesiology Staffing Services
In our area, we are the only ones doing what we do. A local company that contracts experienced anesthesia providers directly to the places that need them. Other regional and national staffing agencies do not have the same understanding of the local industry that Sleepsmith does. This knowledge allows us to deliver tailored services based on the needs of a specific facility, instead of sending in contractors blindly. A win-win for all.
Bringing Anesthesiology to Rural Michigan
Sleepsmith was formed in early 2018 to address a local deficiency of anesthesia providers and experienced success and growth right away. The shortage of providers was magnified to national levels in early 2020. Anesthesia departments–especially in rural areas–took a massive hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. The outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 drove countless CRNAs to relocate or retire. Sleepsmith recognized this critical shortage of anesthesia personnel in rural Michigan and pursued our mission to provide access to quality anesthesia services for these underserved facilities and patients.
